I am a Christian, married to a Jewish girl who does not believe that Jesus is Messiah. When I started dating her in college, I figured I would just
"convert" her, and so I didn't worry about Paul's advice not to be "unequally yoked". Needless to say, I had no idea how tragically
insufficient I was for such a thing. But what I did find out was that I was the one who needed converting. And
convert me He did.
Fast-forward 20 years. Today we are active members at a Reform Jewish congregation, where I am a grateful and humble part of many aspects of synagogue life.
God, in His mercy, has truly given me a deep love for this people Israel - the Jews. I don't just love them because the Bible tells me so - I love them
because they are my family and dear friends. Nevertheless, I have a deep burden for the tribulation that lies ahead for this people, and I now know that God
has given me a mission to shine the light of Messiah Jesus into their hearts, and help to bring them into the Ark of Safety for the time to come.
May God bless us all, and may He grant peace to His people Israel, and to Jerusalem.
